Leads a team of Collateral Analysts (CA) and/or Quality Assurance Analysts (QAA) to monitor a designated portfolio
Performs analysis of pledged collateral to ensure compliance with reporting, availability is maintained, and covenants are satisfied in a timely manner
Interacts directly with Credit Management, Credit Administration, clients, Agent Banks, and internal bank departments
Supervises and trains Operations Specialists, Operations Supervisors and Quality Assurance Analysts
Ensures effective and consistent monitoring of collateral and loans in the portfolio on the Stucky system and mainframe system
Identifies collateral risk issues, takes corrective action and communicates to all levels of the organization
Serves as a resource to team members and mentor for supervisors and managers
Chairs collateral review meetings and manages daily operations of workflow
Sets goals and ensures that various areas manage toward overall Company objectives
Meets with complex prospects and participates in developing and retaining business relationships and complex accounts
Leads the development and implementation of lending strategies, policies and goals, in coordination with other division and region/group management
Evaluates collateral pledged and advance guidelines
Coordinates Customer retention efforts
Requirements
4 year degree or equivalent experience
7-10 years related experience required
In-depth understanding of commercial lending industry, business development techniques and credit decisions
Experience in corporate, asset based, leasing, international, foreign exchange and trade services and other specialty lending areas helpful
Demonstrated ability to analyze business situations and effectively collaborate on overall corporate direction
Excellent credit, financial analysis and accounting skills
Refined negotiation skills
Strategic planning and process management experience
Demonstrated leadership experience, with strong financial management background
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking ability and positive public speaking presence
