About the role
- Support overall coordination of US regulatory remediation including oversight over all workstreams and responsibility for related reporting
- Support the head of US Compliance Transformation in leading strategy and long-term enablement and capabilities planning for US Compliance
- Track, monitor, and challenge Second Line of Defense teams to meet deliverable commitments
- Track and assess short-term tactical and longer-term strategic initiatives to improve Compliance remediation, enablement and capabilities
- Lead and support alignment of strategic planning, enablement, and productivity initiatives across the Compliance ecosystem
- Drive Compliance accountabilities for remediations for regulatory commitments and program self-assessment commitments
- Foster innovation and change-ready culture within Compliance
- Support management of a team of Compliance professionals (will not directly manage a team but will support management)
- Manage and lead development and maintenance of Compliance programs for assigned businesses/functions and legal entities
- Provide coaching, mentorship and guidance to practitioners, business, and executives
- Act as key contact for business management, regulators and external/internal auditors
- Manage high risk initiatives and escalations and participate in enterprise-wide projects
- Advise on day-to-day Compliance matters including customer identification and due diligence, enhanced due diligence, training and compliance testing
- Maintain oversight of management reporting and analysis related to Compliance programs
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience
- CRCM or equivalent a plus
- Strong skills in compliance regulations, strategies and risk management
- Expertise in advisory, policy, change management, project management and operations
- Highly skilled in using computer applications including MS Office, with a focus on PowerPoint
- Highest personal and professional integrity and standards
- Strategic thinker with excellent judgment
- Transparent communicator and respected representative internally and externally
- Clear, concise written communication skills
- People management experience (hiring, performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions)
- Ability to work in a hybrid office model (in-office 2 days/week, increasing to 4 days/week starting Nov 2025)
- Occasional domestic travel
