About the role

  • Provide business technical leadership across information management functions to support data and analytics areas
  • Work independently as a senior lead and manage or direct activities related to strategy and support of business data management solutions
  • Analyze, design, and develop data repositories, warehouses and marts, data movement, data wrangling, data mapping and transformation (ETL) processes
  • Support solutions, applications, platforms, and tools leveraged across functional groups (e.g., Data Scientists, Business Insights & Analytics)
  • Develop sophisticated data preparation frameworks and architecture to create or modify data features for consumption by Data Scientists
  • Support data modeling capabilities and structure business data for varied consumption
  • Develop data road map/information management strategies and technical solutions for integrating, transforming, and managing data
  • Drive data-centric solution development focusing on complex data integration and adopt enterprise data model
  • Solicit, analyze, and understand data requirements using market research, requirements gathering, feature planning and UX considerations
  • Implement processes aligned to data information management standards and ensure data quality, lineage, metadata and reporting elements
  • Perform data profiling using TD tooling and ad hoc system query languages and lead root-cause investigations to resolve data issues
  • Provide support throughout the data lifecycle to resolve data issues and help users interpret data
  • Participate in cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Mentor and coach team members, contribute to knowledge transfer and positive team environment

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 5+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
  • Proficient knowledge of various data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries and reports
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to interpret data and draw conclusions
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Skill in mentoring/coaching others
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office (including Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience in business administration, project management, agile practice, strategy, content development, time management
  • Preferred: Proficient knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/ Excel/ PPT/ Powerapps/ MS Suite
  • Preferred: Ability to read SQL/Python or other programming languages
  • Preferred: Excellent skills in data visualization/Dashboard Development (Tableau/PowerBI)
  • Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
