About the role

  • SullivanCotter partners with health care and not-for-profit organizations to provide workforce strategy and compensation benchmarking
  • Participate in survey data collection, data validation, benchmark and report creation for health care compensation surveys
  • Participate in data cleaning processes across multiple phases using in-house and statistical software
  • Collaborate with analysts and survey managers to produce compensation and survey reports and analyses
  • Provide guidance and support to internal and external clients and survey participants regarding survey processes and analysis
  • Provide in-depth quality assurance to compensation reports per formatting, analysis, and content guidelines
  • Create and/or audit workflows, analyses, charts, and dashboards using Alteryx, Databricks, and Tableau
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements, automation, and streamlining opportunities
  • Assist with ad hoc survey reports, analyses, and projects
  • Create and standardize training materials for new and existing processes
  • Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis
  • Lead complex reporting projects with consideration for scalable cloud solutions
  • Build and refine data models to support migration from legacy tools to cloud infrastructure
  • Understand ETL processes and data warehousing best practices
  • Conduct and train others in in-depth data cleaning and assure reporting calculations per documented specifications
  • Oversee ad hoc analytics and one-off projects and present findings to stakeholders
  • Mentor and train more junior analysts and assist management with administrative duties

Requirements

  • BA or BS in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred fields: finance, economics, statistical research, research methodology)
  • 5+ years of experience in statistical analysis, survey, or data analytics
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Programming experience with SQL
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external counterparts
  • Experience participating in or leading analytic projects
  • Experience creating standard operating procedures and business documentation
  • Proficiency in creating, summarizing, and presenting analytical findings in business-friendly language
  • Self-starter with ability to execute or lead complex project deliverables
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to respond to client inquiries quickly and concisely
  • High degree of critical thinking, analytical foresight, and attention to detail
  • Collaborative team-player with virtual/matrixed team experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain high-quality work
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Mentoring experience for junior analysts
  • Preferred: Experience with Alteryx, R or Python
  • Preferred: Experience with Tableau or Power BI
  • Preferred: Experience with Databricks or other cloud-based solutions
  • Preferred: Experience with ETL processes and JSON
  • Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the health care industry
