About the role

  • Drive and enforce data quality across Citi within the Enterprise Data Office (EDO)
  • Enhance data quality and operational excellence in the Data Exception Management Team
  • Contribute to regulatory deliverables and overall data integrity of the firm
  • Execute data quality strategy: identify data patterns, scorecards, reporting, and deliver data quality assessments
  • Drive data governance and tooling: collaborate to identify and implement tooling, critical data elements, rules, and thresholds; assist remediation of audit and regulatory feedback
  • Design and execute business simplification and process reengineering for global standardization and efficiencies
  • Prioritize and plan change initiatives with functional stakeholders and senior leadership; provide transparency and communication
  • Support risk management and compliance; align initiatives with control frameworks and promote control automation
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

  • 6+ years of overall experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
  • Provide in depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary group of business leads, operations managers, technologists, and senior level management
  • Coordinate and plan work activities, meetings and other tasks that demonstrate leadership with measurable results
  • Support reengineering efforts in business methodology, strategy, and organizational goals
  • Apply/demonstrate advanced understanding of processes, procedures, and policies for aligned business
  • Experience working with Data Quality standards and practices
  • 5-8 years of experience in business analytics
  • Experience with Ab Initio, ETL, Unix, Linux, MicroStrategy, SQL and MS Office Suite (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
