About the role

  • Maintain quality controls over balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers
  • Provide reporting services to business partners, auditors, regulators, and stakeholders
  • Provide specialized finance advice and counsel to business partners
  • Research and determine proper accounting treatment for new products and services
  • Perform month-end financial closing and review monthly financial activity
  • Resolve escalated accounting issues and provide technical guidance
  • Lead and implement process and performance improvements
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and present findings to management

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Accounting, financial or relevant professional designation preferred
  • MS Office experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience in Alteryx
  • Ability to research, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Subject matter expertise in finance/reconciliation controls
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to perform month-end financial closing activities
