About the role
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve inquiries from tax professionals via phone
- Interview end users to collect information and lead users through diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures
- Identify, research, isolate, and resolve the majority of user problems
- Partner with designated staff for advanced support on intricate issues and escalate as needed
- Accurately document and track all customer interactions and resolutions and follow up on unresolved problems
- Maximize positive relationships and customer experience by delivering exceptional, empathetic service
- Adhere to established best practices, procedures, scripts, and management direction
- Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and adherence to scheduled shifts
- Support Drake Software customers by providing tools and support tax professionals need to build their businesses
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience using Drake Software
- Drake Software and tax preparation experience
- Navigational awareness and in-depth product navigation
- Critical thinking skills
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to build rapport and demonstrate empathy with customers through friendly, courteous and helpful interactions
- Strong verbal and written communications skills (good grammar, active listening, voice and diction)
- Strong reading comprehension
- Commitment to Quality – strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to understand/comprehend varying levels of training and follow directions
- Proven dependability and professionalism
