About the role
- Design IT solutions to meet project business needs using Desjardins Group’s architecture targets and shared platforms
- Ensure consistency with the organization’s structure and compatibility of new elements with existing architecture
- Influence business partners and stakeholders on solution architecture development for strategic, complex and innovative initiatives
- Produce specialized deliverables for projects with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity
- Advise on IT development and implementation strategies that comply with architecture targets
- Identify and analyze potential IT solutions and issues; diagnose, report major issues, establish guidelines and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Act as an architecture team member and integrator for delivery teams on impactful projects
- Advise on planning, development, configuration, execution and monitoring of technology solutions
- Represent Desjardins with external partners and organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Extensive, in-depth expertise across several IT fields including data, applications, security and infrastructure
- Experience designing IT solutions that meet business needs and ensuring compatibility with existing architecture
- Ability to influence business partners and stakeholders and advise decision-making bodies
- Strong coordination, interpersonal savvy, and coaching/mentoring abilities
- Experience representing a unit before committees and external partners
