About the role
- Maximize sales and market share of Crop Protection Products and Seed through Independent Dealer Customers
- Provide technical support and business solutions to achieve assigned goals within North West Saskatchewan territory
- Monitor and measure monthly performance of objectives versus budget and implement actions to reach them
- Improve customer performance by providing in-depth coaching and training
- Collaborate with market development delivering sales offers and presentations to channel partners and customers
- Recognize, calculate return on investment and pursue new market segments and business development opportunities
- Build profitability through execution of territory work plans, prospecting, implementing seasonal campaigns, service and product portfolio
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to work outside of business hours seasonally
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Preferred: University degree in Agriculture or Commerce
- Preferred: Relevant knowledge – seed varieties, pesticides
- Preferred: Active knowledge and use of formal professional selling skills
- Preferred: Advanced computer skills with Microsoft applications
- Ability to manage interpersonal relationships
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Able and willing to make decisions independently
