Financial Planning and Analysis

• Process incoming invoices accurately and efficiently through our purchase order system — the backbone of clean financial operations.
• Collect and reconcile credit card statements and take ownership of related invoices on a regular basis.
• Handle employee reimbursement requests with care and precision, in line with our internal guidelines.
• Support the team with research and ad-hoc tasks, bringing structured thinking and curiosity to everything you do.
• Actively contribute to weekly team meetings and help shape ongoing process improvements.
• Play a real role in developing AI-driven initiatives within our Finance team — think smarter automation, more efficient workflows, and tools that will become industry standard. You won't just be a bystander; you'll help build it.

Working Student – Finance Operations

• Ensure full compliance with German professional standards (StBerG, BOStB) while identifying opportunities to modernize traditional industry practices.
• Contribute to the operational strategy for scaling capacity, advising on how to best leverage software and AI without compromising quality.
• Support and guide our internal team of tax experts to maintain efficient case processing and high operational standards.
• Shape and coordinate our network of internal and external tax advisors, ensuring every user receives professional, certified support.
• Advise on supply-side optimization — helping attract, retain, and empower top tax advisors in Germany.
• Contribute to improving unit economics and operational excellence across internal operations and the advisory network.
• Act as a primary stakeholder for our partner Product and Engineering teams. Translate complex tax assistance services into scalable software requirements.
• Champion the automation of manual workflows, leveraging AI wherever possible, to create a "bionic" experience for advisors—allowing them to focus on high-value advisory rather than data entry.

Tax Advisor

• Manage global tax compliance across all relevant jurisdictions, including VAT and corporate tax, ensuring timely, accurate filings and maintaining consistent documentation standards as the company scales.
• Lead relationships with external advisors and tax authorities, coordinating responses for audits, regulatory queries, and complex compliance matters to manage risk and maintain a strong control environment.
• Partner closely with R&D, Legal and FP&A to embed accurate, up-to-date tax logic into finance and billing systems.
• Provide proactive tax guidance for new market entries, product launches, pricing structures, and commercial partnerships, ensuring tax implications are considered early in strategic discussions.
• Define and govern tax data requirements, ensuring tax-relevant data pipelines are complete, accurate, and available for audits, reconciliations, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Legal and FP&A on intercompany structuring, transfer pricing documentation, budgeting for tax liabilities, and long-term tax planning.
• Educate internal teams, build tax awareness across departments, and support stronger cross-functional decision-making by promoting a clear understanding of tax-sensitive areas.
