Systems Engineer

• Work with department leadership to identify, coordinate, and implement business requirements using NetSuite, HubSpot, and other integrated systems/tools.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of existing processes and integrations between NetSuite, HubSpot, and other platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and data flow.
• Implement and enhance integrations, customizations, and workflow automations that improve organizational efficiency and increase visibility into operational, sales, and financial data.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations and interoperability solutions across NetSuite, HubSpot, AI platforms, and other enterprise applications, ensuring reliable data exchange and scalable business processes.
• Create dashboards, AI tools, and other data visibility capabilities to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Provide internal user support, assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution. Monitor and maintain system security in alignment with company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input on projects. Support work queues for development tasks and communicate project status and updates to the stakeholders and peers through Agile processes.
• Maintain and audit data pipelines and processes to ensure data security, integrity, and consistency.
• Perform integrity testing and risk assessments of system upgrades before new version releases and perform associated risk mitigations.
• Create and maintain documentation of projects, processes, and system configurations, ensuring clarity for current and future reference.
• Effectively communicate project status, concerns, and risks to the department leadership, ensuring transparency and proper tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration to improve and optimize systems, data processes, application interoperability, and automation.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet the organization’s objectives.

Business Systems Analyst/Developer

Editor

• Under supervision, writes abstracts and summaries of tax legislation and other tax documents.
• Collects, processes, and maintains data for print and electronic products.
• Prepares daily data for publication as assigned.
• Researches and retrieves source material from various media and performs quality control reviews on final products.
• Assists in the general preparation of documents for publication.
• Edits online abstracts and summaries for print and online products, following prescribed editorial and style manual guidelines.
• Researches, acquires, and verifies information concerning tax documents, and monitors state, federal, and/or international websites, newspapers, magazines, etc. for tax and other monetary related issues as required or assigned.
• Proofreads and performs light copy editing for consistency, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Creates shells for documents as assigned or required and enters necessary information in Content Management System.
• May proofread special reports and/or galleys for weekly print products and perform light copy editing.
• Processes full-text or hard copy documents as necessary.
• May research, compile, and write columns for the print and online publications.
• Maintain department databases and directories.
• Works with editors and production department staff to meet established deadlines.
• Manages source data through the production process for assigned products, including building, validating, and finalizing database files.
• Runs conversions on data to conform to database formats.
• Runs specific software processes to create database files for updating publications.
• Runs proprietary programs to compile files for uploading to website and electronic publication in a timely fashion.
• Cross-trains with other department members and acts as backup for other team members as required or assigned.
• Performs final review of files for quality assurance before publication.
• May assist with training new hires as needed.
• Maintains a database of correspondent agreements, ensures that all correspondents have active agreements, and prepares payment forms for correspondents consistent with the agreements.

Editorial Assistant

Representative

• Manage the renewal lifecycle for an assigned book of international subscription accounts, across all customer sizes, including law firms, corporate, accounting and government accounts.
• Proactively engage customers in advance of renewal dates to confirm continuation of service, pricing, and terms
• Serve as a knowledgeable and reliable point of contact for renewal-related inquiries
• Clearly communicate the value of Tax Analysts’ publications and research tools in support of continued subscriptions
• Work in close partnership with the territory Sales Representative to support account strategy and customer needs
• Identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities and coordinate with the Sales Representative for execution
• Accurately process renewals and maintain contract and communication records in NetSuite
• Ensure renewal data, customer records, and documentation are complete and up to date
• Monitor renewal timelines and flag at-risk accounts early to prevent service interruptions
• Coordinate with internal teams as needed to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally
• Meet or exceed established renewal percentage expectations and related performance goals

Renewal Representative

• Leads Global Author Outreach: Designs and implements targeted outreach initiatives to recruit authors worldwide, prioritizing expansion into underrepresented regions and subject areas.
• Drives Contributor Acquisition Strategy: Identifies coverage gaps and emerging issues, devises action plans to engage high-value authors, and ensures a robust pipeline of diverse voices.
• Innovates Outreach Tools and Processes: Utilizes all available tools—and develops new ones as needed—to streamline and enhance author identification, onboarding, and engagement.
• Optimizes Author Engagement and Relationships: Builds, maintains, and deepens relationships with current and prospective authors, acting as the primary ambassador for our author community.
• Oversees Author Agreements and Payments: Manages all aspects of author agreements, including negotiation, execution, and coordination of compensation, working closely with editorial leadership and accounting.
• Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establishes key performance indicators to track outreach effectiveness, author satisfaction, and content quality; uses analytics to inform strategy.
• Supervises and Develops Staff: Directly manages the Acquisitions group, to include the Associate Acquisitions Editor and possible other members, setting priorities, providing training, and supporting professional growth. In consultation with the Acquisitions and Engagement Editor in Chief, may hire, discipline, and if necessary, dismiss team members.
• Improves Workflow and Infrastructure: Designs and refines workflows for submission intake, author management, and content processing to ensure efficiency and alignment with editorial goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serves as a liaison between Commentary, Editorial, and Accounting to align contributor management, payments, and content operations.
• Special Projects & Initiatives: Directs acquisitions for special projects such as thematic issues, year-in-review features, and other strategic content initiatives.
• Author Feedback & Issue Resolution: Maintains processes for collecting author feedback and resolving publication process issues to foster a positive contributor experience.
• Acts as Deputy: Represents the Acquisitions & Engagement Editor-in-Chief as needed to ensure continuity and excellence in acquisitions operations.

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR and Payroll team across core functions (onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, exiting, and HR systems)
• Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing materials, coordinating schedules, and ensuring a seamless new hire experience
• Support HR projects, reporting, and compliance initiatives as needed
• Assist with employee badging and access management, ensuring accurate and secure onboarding/offboarding processes

• Serve as a consistent onsite HR presence (4 days/week) to support employees and foster a positive workplace environment
• Partner with HR and leadership to plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and culture initiatives
• Capture and document workplace moments, events, and employee experiences through photography and/or video
• Collaborate with HR and Marketing to support internal and external communications, social media content, and employer branding efforts
