About the role
- Leverage cyber defense and security expertise to support strategic markets and government clients
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities in the government landscape (direct and indirect/partners)
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Provide expertise to win opportunities and promote Mastercard cyber solutions and knowledge for government clients (RFI/P responses, customer presentations, convenings, etc.)
- Work directly with local market teams to advise, develop and coordinate strategies, maintain opportunity pipeline, create local narratives, support development of materials, and measure progress
- Establish partnerships with key internal stakeholders and business units
- Provide regular training sessions for global and regional sales teams to establish consistency and structure within the community of practice
- Activate innovation hubs and convenings as required
- Travel as required to support global markets and client engagements
Requirements
- 10+ years’ proven experience in government, specializing in Cybersecurity
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem across multiple markets
- Proven experience in defense and security
- Security Clearance is an asset
- Strong business judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Sales experience is beneficial
- Independent self-starter, adaptable to ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at various levels
- Executive-level presentation and communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Energetic, promotes teamwork, integration, and inclusion
- History of establishing and delivering on key performance indicators
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones and possess global experience
- Travel required
