About the role
- Own a quota based solely on net new deals you bring in
- Build strong internal relationships and communication channels within the Open Banking team and the broader Mastercard organization to ensure a collaborative, unified and responsive interface to partner relationships
- Analyze client needs, conduct research, develop thoughtful solutions and devise tactical plans to pursue business opportunities
- Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification, through pursuit and proposal development, to negotiation and contract execution
- Build and manage a robust pipeline by identifying and selling prospects
- Successfully close new business through consultative and relationship-based selling
- Achieve and exceed assigned quotas
Requirements
- Multiple years of solution-based sales experience with quota responsibility (Open Finance / Open Banking sales experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of our clients’ top Open Finance use cases spanning payments, identity, onboarding, and lending
- Ability to identify and sell in, to multiple stakeholders and buying centers at the partner organization
- Excellent presentation skills, both in-person and over video, and ability to communicate effectively with C-level business executives
- Self-driven, proactive, motivated and results oriented, with an ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations both internally and externally
- Intermediate experience with Salesforce and Excel, with an ability to build revenue models and associated business cases for deal rationale/approval
