Oversee and manage client operations and administration support activities for institutional clients holding separate accounts, sub-advised and proprietary products
Service clients through the client life cycle and resolve complex operational issues
Partner with a Client Implementation Manager during onboarding and take over day-to-day servicing after onboarding is complete
Ensure inquiries, requests, and service requirements are met/addressed
Lead Investment Management Agreement updates, fee payment modifications, reporting requests, coordination of restricted lists, reconciliation inquiries, establishing new market openings and participation of new counterparty agreements
Partner with Distribution Relationship Managers and internal groups including Investments, Legal, Investment and Trading Solutions, Investment Compliance, Global Investment Operations, Global Client Investment Reporting
Analyze data to develop informed operating or servicing agreements and negotiate operational servicing requirements
Escalate complex, nonstandard servicing requirements to senior staff and facilitate resolution in accordance with local regulatory requirements
Communicate regularly with complex clients and their service providers and facilitate communication of information to internal parties
Lead internal activities and initiatives to improve client operations processes and ensure a high-quality client experience
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
5+ years of total relevant work experience
Excellent knowledge of the asset management business and investment products (preferred)
Excellent client service skills (preferred)
Excellent time management skills; ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities (preferred)
Strong prioritization and decision-making skills (preferred)
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines (preferred)
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills (preferred)
Proven ability to work in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency (preferred)
Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently (preferred)
