Partner with leadership and HRBP teams to advise on the associate relations impact of organizational restructuring and transformation efforts
Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with organizational goals and facilitate smooth transitions during periods of change
Provide expert guidance on employment law and regulations to ensure compliance throughout all change processes
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies related to employee relations during change initiatives
Collaborate with broader project teams to integrate employee relations considerations into project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Design and deliver training programs and communication plans to support employees and managers through change processes
Work with partners in the talent team to analyze data and metrics to assess the impact of change initiatives on employee engagement and satisfaction, making recommendations for improvement
Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, providing support and guidance on employee relations matters during transformation efforts
Focus on continuous improvement of approach; establish, and document, best practice processes to support increased efficiency and structure of the work we support
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee relations and employment law to continuously enhance the function's effectiveness
Support the Global Head of AR and senior AR team in executing the global AR strategy and ensuring practices and processes globally align where possible, incorporating need for regional difference
Lead, and contribute to, AR-related projects, partnering with other global COEs as needed
Confidently influence and articulate complex issues to a diverse range of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
Support the broader case volume within the US, providing advice and support on a broad range of employee issues across the US region, including (but not limited to) management of under-performance, involuntary exits (including redundancies), conduct and disciplinary issues and interpretation of employment policy and practices
Adept at working with management to influence/facilitate change, implement strategy and accomplish objectives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
8+ years of total progressive relevant work experience in an employment relations role, or a HR role with a strong component of employee relations in the role
Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proven track record of successfully managing and supporting organizational change initiatives
Sound understanding and application of relevant US employment laws and regulations, and ability to pragmatically apply this knowledge in a commercial environment
Ability to work independently and in a team in a global matrix environment
Experience building consensus on a cross-functional basis
Proven project management skills and experience with a drive for results
