Report to Commercial Sales Director and be part of North American sales team with emphasis in U.S. & Canada.
Develop and maintain company relationships with channel partners, manufacturer representatives, specifying engineers and design consultants.
Facilitate and manage growth and profitable sales of Commercial Ventilation Solutions within an assigned territory.
Provide design and layout assistance to internal team members and external business partners in compliance with applicable industry codes and standards.
Provide technical support via phone, e-mail and video conference for both internal and external customers in the areas of selection, design and application.
Prepare take-off and issue proposals for projects in compliance with project specifications and design guidelines.
Negotiate with external customers and close profitable orders with a focus towards achieving planned margin goals.
Maintain pre and post bid project files, generate project submittals, process order entry and other required documentation throughout the sales and project closeout process.
Involvement in technical solutions for projects from design to project completion.
Travel as necessary to effectively facilitate sales and support project requirements, including meetings with external business partners, factory and industry related meetings.
Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in assigned areas.
Maintain effective budgetary controls of sales expenses and adhere to company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Requirements
BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline required. However, equivalent work experience in specialized fields will be considered.
Professional Engineering certification is highly desirable.
Proven experience in commercial HVAC equipment sales and a working knowledge of fan selection including axial and centrifugal application is preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
Excellent presentation and negotiating skills.
Strong influential, persuasion, and statistical analysis skills.
Working knowledge of Sales Force or other CSM.
Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
Must be able to travel (by car or air) a minimum of 50% to meet regional needs.
Light physical effort – able to lift up to 20lbs at times. Sitting, lifting, squatting, pushing, or reaching for intermittent or extended periods.
