• proficiency in programming and coding is essential to support complex engineering and data analyses
• lead and conduct thermal hydraulic analyses to support BWR fuel design, optimization, and performance evaluation

Senior Engineer, Thermal Hydraulic Analyses

Architect

• Direct the design and engineering of non-Seismic Category I structures, with a focus on interior functional requirements and systems integration
• Ensure all designs meet associated industry and local codes, standards, and regulations
• Collaborate with Civil, Structural, and Mechanical teams to integrate HVAC, radiation shielding, and fire protection requirements into the architectural shell

Civil Engineer

• Lead the structural analysis and design of non-reactor structures (e.g., Turbine Building, Radwaste Facilities, Control Building, Cooling Structures, etc)
• Perform/Review complex calculations for non-Seismic Category I structures for both seismic hazards and other sources of extreme loads
• Coordinate with architectural engineers to ensure structural elements can accommodate mechanical systems and interior layouts while ensuring safety is not compromised
• Work with geotechnical engineering to design robust foundation systems (mats, piles, and/or piers) including turbine pedestals that account for soil-structure interaction (SSI)

• The Chief Engineer holds significant technical authority across the Engineering Enterprise, by defining and enforcing standards, while making decisions that influence project and business initiative outcomes.
• Serve as the technical authority for end-to-end design and implementation of the most complex Aeromechanics projects.
• Act as a technical resource and subject matter expert for Aeromechanics across Gas Power Engineering, providing guidance to project teams and stakeholders
• Lead with Technical rigor to develop safe, high-quality products while being routinely Engaged during design process
• Review and approve engineering documentation and deliverables to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
