About the role
- Lead robust and competitive sourcing plans for tenders, providing vendor list, ensuring accurate costing and cycle times.
- Serve as the primary contact for sourcing data and standards throughout the ITO process.
- Collaborate with strategic sourcing, engineering, and finance to maintain up-to-date product cost databases.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation in the ITO stage; provide actionable feedback to sales and proposal teams.
- Oversee the RFQ process for tenders, evaluate supplier offers, and secure cost solidity.
- Capture and integrate lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future tendering.
- Facilitate seamless handovers between Tender and Project Execution teams.
- Establish a robust and competitive sourcing plan for all 60 Hz MSD tenders and act as the point of contact for sourcing inputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Sourcing, Sales, Commercial Operations, and/or Supply Chain (Power Industry preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with sourcing and procurement in complex, technical environments.
- Experience with Material Shipped Direct (MSD) in power plants projects. (Desired)
- Strategic sourcing and financial acumen.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional, global teams.
- Resilience, accountability, and a quality-focused mindset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
