About the role

  • Serve as the GE Vernova central point of contact for designated GE Vernova Key customer account, NextEra Energy, supporting the value proposition for the entire GE Vernova portfolio by developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our customers culture, needs, business objectives, and business strategy.\n
  • Lead the management of the customer relationship from the C-suite down, coordinate with GEV teams, and ensure executive sponsorship.\n
  • Spend majority of time coordinating customer communications, quality/feedback/problem resolution, account plans and summaries, and executive meetings to ensure high quality at every touch point.\n
  • Fully understand the customer’s business, market, competition, and GEV priorities and growth initiatives.\n
  • Develop strategic account plans with proactive growth objectives, jointly with the customer and P&L account teams.\n
  • Represent the entire GEV portfolio and support collaboration across P&Ls for complex or multi-P&L opportunities.\n
  • Plan and lead yearly key account business meetings; facilitate yearly NPS survey and action plans.\n
  • Set Operational KPIs and monitor health of the customer relationship; monitor customer satisfaction, and growth/profitability of the account.\n
  • KPIs/TTIs, Pipeline & Share of Wallet: grow 3-year rolling projection of customer spend and increase spend with GEV as percent of overall spend.\n
  • Target Net Promoter Score: yearly measurement and actions around customer feedback.\n
  • Ensure quarterly account plan reviews and relationship heatmaps; action tracker management; NPS scores.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college.\n
  • Minimum 10 years of additional experience in direct sales/commercial, marketing, account management or other EPC/end user customer or supplier-facing role.\n
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy, power generation, and/or renewables industry.\n
  • Strong financial management skills with knowledge of market economics and competitive landscape, including deep knowledge of the energy market, including energy production (renewables, natural gas, etc.), transmission, storage, and consumption.\n
  • Demonstrated success developing and maintaining GEV cross-business relationships at multiple levels.\n
  • Demonstrated ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.\n
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining effective customer relationships at C-suite level.\n
  • Demonstrated strength in interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills, with all business levels including senior leadership.\n
  • Team leadership experience.\n
  • Proven ability in developing and implementing a business strategy or blueprint.\n
  • Ability to speak and interact in the local language of the Customer.\n
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%-75% of the time, as required.\n
  • Position will be based in Juno Beach, FL, where NextEra is headquartered.\n
  • Desired characteristics include Advanced degree or MBA; Proximity to the Customer Center of Competence or willingness to relocate.\n
  • Experience as the lead account manager/ leading an account team with identified key customers who have broad product portfolios.\n
  • Strong team player with interpersonal, communication, influencing and team building skills.\n
  • Strong customer-orientation focus and passion to win.\n
