Account Executive

• Prospect and qualify new dispensary accounts via outbound activity, events, and referrals
• Maintain ≥4x quota pipeline in HubSpot with clear next steps for every prospect
• Consistently generate new opportunities while advancing active deals
• Create territory plans to target high-potential market operators
• Cultivate relationships with key cannabis retail stakeholders
• Lead discovery, ROI-focused demos, and complex negotiations with decision-makers
• Close bundled SaaS contracts covering POS, payments, and e-commerce
• Build business cases proving operational and financial value
• Position Sweed as a premium, outcome-driven solution
• Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes across retail and executive teams
• Manage accurate deal stages and action plans in HubSpot
• Submit weekly forecasts with commit, best-case, and upside projections
• Ensure high CRM hygiene and consistent forecast accuracy
• Monitor funnel metrics and overall pipeline health
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Success teams on campaigns and strategic deals
• Share market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence
• Support regional growth and account expansion initiatives
• Capture trends and feedback to influence product and GTM strategy
• Refine sales playbooks and value-selling frameworks

• Participate in product discussions, planning, and technical design.
• Build and evolve integration flows between admin and client-facing applications.
• Refactor legacy code and improve architecture incrementally.
• Review pull/merge requests and mentor where helpful.
• Contribute to shared UI/core libraries used across portal and ECOM apps.
• Drive the evolution of our public UI component library across client-facing channels.
• Use AI tools effectively - write good prompts, build skills/agents/automations, and keep humans in the loop on quality.

• Own full-cycle recruitment from intake to offer across technical and business roles.
• Build strong candidate pipelines through sourcing, referrals, networking, and market mapping.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring strategies, interview processes, and candidate profiles.
• Guide hiring decisions with market insights, structured assessments, and thoughtful recommendations.
• Keep hiring moving by proactively solving bottlenecks and managing stakeholder communication.
• Improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and onboarding.
• Use hiring metrics and market insights to challenge assumptions, prioritize effectively, and improve the overall hiring process.
• Explore and implement AI tools and automation to make recruiting smarter and more efficient.
• Contribute to hiring process improvements and broader HR and recruiting initiatives
