About the role

  • Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
  • Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
  • Build ongoing value by updating customers' knowledge of products/applications, assisting in product election, and providing appropriate training
  • Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and other team members on territory sales strategy progress and problem resolution
  • Continually improves product/sales skills and market/application knowledge

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related fields is preferred
  • 1+ years of outside sales / account management experience selling to industrial customers
  • Demonstrated sales acumen and knowledge
  • Previous experience within industrial sales focused on fluid control systems, fluid filtration systems, fluid handling products is preferred
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a sales team effort
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions
  • Organized, detail oriented, quick learner with ability to grasp new concepts
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic mathematics aptitude necessary (decimals, fractions, algebra)
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Valid Drivers License
