Carry out account development, relationship management and new customer lead generation
Build strong and lasting relationships with partners and customers and keep client knowledge up-to-date
Identify new sales prospects and follow up on leads
Identify & track customer needs and objectives and match them to our products and services
Create value propositions / account plans based on customer insights and review with Distribution Manager
Participate in industry conferences, fairs, and events of solar and photovoltaics associations where required
Assist partner sales persons on sales opportunities with partner’s key customers
Respond to and follow up on sales and information enquiries by phone and email
Monitor & maintain customer relations by analysing and evaluating customer satisfaction and managing problems through to resolution
Perform operational tasks (e.g., quote entry, tracking, performance and deadlines)
Monitor and report on sales activities and provide relevant information to management
Maintain a high level of accuracy of customer data on the CRM and document customer interactions
Raise/escalate topics that could cause damage to business continuity, partnership or relationship and inform partners when instructed
Investigate overdue payments when requested and escalate or action when required
Requirements
Completed studies in electrical engineering, electrical & electronical engineering or a comparable or a higher education qualification or business related studies with technical part
Experience in inverter, EPC or solar industry (management) — previous work for an inverter manufacturer advantageous
Strong technical knowledge of PV inverters, BOS and system
