About the role

  • Develop and validate test methods to evaluate factors that impact clot aspiration from blood vessels using Stryker’s existing technologies
  • Research and assess emerging technologies with the potential to improve aspiration efficacy
  • Apply engineering principles to solve real-world clinical challenges that directly support patient care
  • Document complex processes and present them in a clear format
  • Collaborate with teams and network with stakeholders; gain mentorship from business leaders
  • Contribute to meaningful projects and implement new ideas

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment
  • Targeted majors: Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering / Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, related engineering disciplines
  • Travel up to 10%
