Backend Engineer

• Build and ship new product features for Taktile’s AI agent platform, from idea to production.
• Own backend work end-to-end: collaborate on scope, implement, test, release, and iterate based on real usage.
• Help make agent workflows reliable and easy to use by improving how agents run, how they connect to external tools, and how they behave when something goes wrong.
• Work closely with Product and Design, using insights from dogfooding and customer feedback to shape what we build next.
• Raise the quality bar by improving maintainability, clarity, and performance as the platform grows.

Backend Engineer – Agents Team

Full-stack Engineer

• Build and ship features across the full stack: TypeScript/React frontend and Python/FastAPI backend on AWS Lambda.
• Participate in team rituals including daily syncs, sprint planning, demos, and technical deep-dives.

• Act as the strategic partner and primary point of contact for enterprise customers post-sale
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Solutions, Data) to deliver high-impact projects on time
• Translate complex business problems into workflows and product configurations
• Become a subject-matter expert in the Taktile platform and the business value it can unlock for our customers

General Counsel

• Own the end-to-end sales contract lifecycle for the Americas.
• Draft and negotiate high-stakes MSAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs and NDAs with sophisticated fintechs and global banks.
• Design and implement Taktile’s US sales-legal workflow.
• Lead legal strategy for our burgeoning reseller and partner ecosystem.
• Review and negotiate key vendor and technology agreements.
• Advise on US privacy laws, AI and automated decision-making regulations.
• Coordinate with our German HQ regarding IP licensing and intercompany agreements.

Senior Commercial Counsel – US

• Build and own backend components written in Python / FastAPI, running on an AWS serverless architecture, powering customer-facing capabilities for evaluating and improving decision flows.
• Design, extend, and maintain complex backend subsystems that operate on large volumes of historical decision data and expose them through well-structured APIs.
• Review pull requests with depth, contribute to architectural decisions, and help maintain a high bar for code quality, reliability, and delivery velocity, including CI/CD improvements where needed.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Solutions, and other engineering teams to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Actively participate in team rituals such as planning sessions, demos, and technical deep dives, shaping both execution and long-term direction.
• Grow as an engineer by working on a foundational part of the product, learning from experienced peers, and taking increasing ownership over systems and outcomes.
