About the role
- Establish and execute the DC intermediary go-to-market strategy aligned with U.S. Wealth and CCG priorities
- Manage, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Consultants and National Account Managers
- Orchestrate a team-selling approach to drive business results
- Build and deepen strategic relationships with DC aggregators, recordkeepers, advisor/consultant firms and senior executive leadership
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight of channel sales plans and targets
- Oversee development of territory/regional and account-level plans by team members
- Deliver against annual sales, revenue and market share targets; drive pipeline and close opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships with recordkeepers and aggregators
- Oversee partnerships with platform gatekeepers and due diligence teams to secure product approvals and maintain shelf space
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Infrastructure, Client Experience and other internal partners to ensure seamless coverage and execution
- Represent the firm with key clients, partners, and at industry events as a senior leader
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments to inform strategy
- Ensure risk excellence by enforcing sales supervision, controls, and conduct standards across the team
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in investment management
- At least 5 years in sales leadership preferred
- Experience in the retirement investment products space preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced degree or relevant designation (e.g., CFA) is a plus
- FINRA Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses required
- Strategic, forward-looking mindset with ability to identify market trends
- Proven track record of navigating complex organizations and aligning stakeholders
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated enterprise selling capability
- Data-driven approach to optimizing distribution strategy and client experience
- Ability to attract, motivate, and develop high-performing teams; strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High integrity, energy, and a results-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) as needed
