• The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of new features and product enhancements by driving clear, detailed requirements gathering and cross-functional alignment.

Data Engineer

• As a Data Operations Engineer, you’ll play a critical role within the Enterprise Data function, part of the R&D organisation at StarCompliance.
• You’ll be responsible for the delivery, maintenance, and evolution of the data feed infrastructure that underpins the Star platform, ensuring that clients and brokers can exchange data securely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Working at the intersection of data operations and software development, this role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering teams, expand your technical expertise, and directly influence the quality and performance of Star’s data ecosystem.

Data Operations Engineer

Support Engineer

• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex issues in a SaaS compliance platform environment, directly engaging with enterprise clients through support tickets, virtual meetings, and client calls to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database incidents within SLAs.
• Take end-to-end ownership of support requests and high-priority incidents - ensuring timely resolution, proactive client communication, and effective coordination across teams – while maintaining professionalism and composure in client-facing scenarios.
• Write, analyze, and optimize T-SQL queries; troubleshoot database performance issues; and leverage tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Profiler to diagnose and resolve bottlenecks.
• Apply strong knowledge of Windows Server, Azure environments, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Windows Services to diagnose and resolve web application and infrastructure-related issues.
• Support and monitor Azure-hosted applications using tools such as New Relic, SQL Sentry, and Uptrends to proactively identify and resolve performance degradation before it impacts clients.

• StarCompliance is seeking a highly skilled, critical-thinking Application Support Engineer to join our growing CSS Environments Team. In this lead analyst role, you’ll provide technical expertise for Level 2 application support while driving operational excellence through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our application and cloud environments.
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our web applications using your extensive knowledge of cloud environments and will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and delivering a best-in-class client experience.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and previous experience of web application support using Microsoft technologies (IIS/MSSQL) and a proven track record of successfully operating within technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Environments are an integral function within StarCompliance and work directly with Client Support Services, Professional Services, Product, Relationship Management and Sales. Technical knowledge is paramount for this position alongside deep critical thinking and an ability to methodically assess, direct or resolve issues which may not have been encountered previously.
