About the role
- Hunts within defined territory to prospect and win net new small to medium business customers
- Ramp and onboard net new won accounts to expand customer base
- Drive prospect engagement remotely by phone, video, face to face, and utilizing digital tools
- Set required number of appointments each week with decision makers
- Utilize professional selling skills, discover prospects' needs, and close sales
- Use prescribed selling tools to prioritize and document customer engagement (Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC)
- Work with customer support/set up teams and category specialists to progress deals
- Implement and ramp wins driving compliance to new account/program
- Support product selection and standardization based on prospect buying processes
- Create sticky accounts to ensure repeat purchases
- Communicate with prospects daily in person and face to face
Requirements
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience or success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate
- 3+ years experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) (preferred)
- Industry knowledge (preferred)
