• Provide support to Environmental Services sector supporting existing MCP projects and other business sectors within Stantec. This will include working with Stantec offices throughout New England.

Senior Project Manager – LSP

Engineer

• Work with guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects
• Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for project applications
• Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices
• Develop and optimize electrical components and systems, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and industry standards
• Conduct basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and other similar materials
• Perform Revit design for the electrical discipline using knowledge of relevant software programs
• Work with architectural, interior, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines in coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer /designer

Electrical Engineer in Training, EIT

• Interfacing directly with clients that include various Airport Authorities, State Aviation Authorities, and Department of Defense representatives
• In-depth knowledge of clients’ needs and standards and upcoming Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects
• Leading design objectives and advancing airport projects through completion and final close-out
• Prepares project Scope of Services and engineering fees, establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures, defines roles and responsibilities, coordinates project resources, and monitors project progress
• Work with the design team on deliverables, including preparation of drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, preparation of project specifications and construction cost estimates
• Preparing grant administration paperwork for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) Airport Improvement Program (AIP), as well as State grant administration
• Provides guidance to Resident Engineers during construction with the ability and confidence to solve problems as needed
• Lead the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications
• Actively participates in the marketing process by delivering quality work, providing excellent client service, and assisting with project pursuits
• Takes an active mentoring role; encourages, motivates, and develops others for high performance; ensures that mistakes become learning experiences

Aviation Project Manager

Civil Engineer

• Use knowledge of the general concepts of relevant civil engineering elements including the design of roadways, runways, taxiways and aircraft parking aprons, drainage, grading, etc.
• Perform civil engineering design tasks on assigned transportation or development related projects.
• Perform calculations and analyses in support of project design development.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, project document reports, client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
• Attend and assist in client/contractor/stakeholder meetings to gain a better understanding of client's goals.

Architectural Project Manager – Buildings

Civil Engineer, Water Infrastructure

• Prepare engineering and design deliverables for transmission lines including conceptual design basis and design criteria, line layouts, structural configurations, loading analysis, structure design, conductor and overhead ground wire analysis, and material selection.
• Use PLS-CADD regularly for transmission line modeling, profiling, structure spotting, preparation of design calculations, reports, and drawings including plan & profile sheets, structure data sheets, bill of materials, and stringing charts.
• Model, analyze, design, and optimize new or existing transmission structures using PLS TOWER, PLS-POLE, and other FE modeling programs.
• Perform route alignment and line layout/selection studies.
• Prepare technical reports, project scopes, specifications, and construction documents including Issue for Tender (IFT) and Issue for Construction (IFC) packages.
• Provide material quantities and estimates for transmission lines, including line hardware, wires, structures, and foundations.
• Provide technical engineering support and reviews to field crews during construction, which includes site supervision.
• Participate in site visits and field reviews as needed, depending on project locations and your role within projects.
• Participate in discussions with clients and contractors, as well as coordinating with various disciplines for successful implementation of projects.

Transmission Line Engineer

• Support the design, analysis, and construction of all types of infrastructure projects, with specific focus cold regions and permafrost areas in Canada
• Carry out complex analysis using state of the practice software
• Manage and coordinate geotechnical-focused and multidisciplinary project teams, commensurate with your experience and capabilities

Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer – Cold Regions, Permafrost

• Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project execution.
• Manage all aspects of document control, including tracking submissions, maintaining version control, and organizing project files.
• Assist with financial management, including budget tracking and updates, estimate to completion (ETC) analysis, invoicing coordination, and financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate and document project meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.
• Support the preparation of project deliverables and submission packages.
• Track Requests for Information (RFIs), responses, and team inputs.
• Ensure compliance with internal project management frameworks and client requirements.
