About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will be responsible for supporting the engineer design efforts with a specific focus on industrial projects such as Semiconductor Manufacturing, Data Centers, and other Advanced Manufacturing projects
  • Knowledge in scope definition, design schedule management, coordination with other disciplines, design document creation, and quality reviews
  • Coordination with department heads for resource allocation
  • Budget tracking throughout design
  • RFP scope definition and resource estimation
  • Performing engineering studies for highly technical clients
  • Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents
  • Oversee load calculations, systems design, cross-discipline coordination, and signing and sealing of contract documents
  • Leading a team of Engineers and Designers on multiple projects
  • Mentoring junior engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical writing experience and proficiency
  • Experience in mechanical systems design
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • 10+ years of engineering experience in industrial design and construction industry with a current Professional Engineers license in the U.S.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients
