About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will be responsible for supporting the engineer design efforts with a specific focus on industrial projects such as Semiconductor Manufacturing, Data Centers, and other Advanced Manufacturing projects
- Knowledge in scope definition, design schedule management, coordination with other disciplines, design document creation, and quality reviews
- Coordination with department heads for resource allocation
- Budget tracking throughout design
- RFP scope definition and resource estimation
- Performing engineering studies for highly technical clients
- Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents
- Oversee load calculations, systems design, cross-discipline coordination, and signing and sealing of contract documents
- Leading a team of Engineers and Designers on multiple projects
- Mentoring junior engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical writing experience and proficiency
- Experience in mechanical systems design
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 10+ years of engineering experience in industrial design and construction industry with a current Professional Engineers license in the U.S.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients
