Design, execute, and iterate a strategy and portfolio of investments for building a robust pipeline of liberty-minded talent aligned with Stand Together’s CLG priorities
Establish clear ownership and operationalize systems for identifying, tracking, and connecting talent throughout the pipeline to reduce drop-off and maximize long-term engagement
Collaborate with core policy partners to refine training and mentorship programs, increase student engagement, and drive career connections
Integrate specialty organizations into the talent strategy to fill gaps in key issue areas and accelerate placements
Develop knowledge-sharing systems to connect talent and pipelines across stages (students, early career, mid-career, alumni) to ensure network effects and retention
Engage with hiring leaders to connect them to principled talent prepared to advance policies that prevent government overreach and protect individual liberty
Define KPIs and outcomes to evaluate program success, track ROI, and drive continuous improvement in cost-efficiency and placement effectiveness
Requirements
Experience leading talent development initiatives with demonstrated results in long-term engagement and career placement
Deep familiarity with the liberty-advancing nonprofit and policy ecosystem, including academic centers, think tanks, and government opportunities
Understanding of constitutional principles and the current policy landscape, with a passion for advancing individual liberty and limiting government overreach
Experience using evaluation metrics and data to measure performance and drive insights
Ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to build a shared vision, align strategies, set priorities, and deliver results
Creativity in designing programs, building networks, and connecting talent to high-leverage roles
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and commitment across partners and stakeholders
Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together’s vision and principled approach and to steward organizational culture
Proven track record of building or leading large-scale talent strategies in the liberty, academic, or policy space (standout)
Established relationships with policy organizations, academic partners, and hiring managers in the liberty-advancing ecosystem (standout)
