About the role

  • Manage and track development initiatives and campaigns using tools like Asana, Workfront, or similar; coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-departmental dependencies to ensure timely execution of fundraising projects; monitor and evaluate project performance, providing status reports and identifying risks or roadblocks early.
  • Improve and maintain internal fundraising operations to enhance team efficiency and donor stewardship; build, optimize, and manage systems, processes, and tools that support fundraising strategies and execution; assist with the preparation and delivery of donor communications and campaign materials.
  • Act as a central liaison between internal stakeholders (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Development leadership) and external partner organizations; support collaboration in a matrixed environment, helping drive alignment toward shared fundraising goals.
  • Utilize CRM platforms like Salesforce to track donor activity, manage fundraising pipelines, and support reporting; ensure data integrity, consistency, and usability across all fundraising and communications initiatives.
  • Contribute to the drafting and editing of compelling donor materials, reports, and internal communications; translate complex project updates into clear, actionable information for diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, program operations, or fundraising support (non-profit experience strongly preferred).
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a drive for operational efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment.
  • Solutions-oriented, principled, and motivated by contribution and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with non-profit fundraising cycles, major gifts, and campaign planning.
  • Background in marketing, communications, or program management is a plus.
