About the role

  • First point of contact for internal company users needing technical assistance with hardware and software
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot common issues via chat or email
  • Document problems and solutions
  • Escalate complex cases to senior technicians
  • Develop knowledge in the core tools, technologies, and processes used within the team
  • Apply a logical and systematic method of troubleshooting basic IT issues and resolving them
  • Communicate effectively with anyone in the organization
  • Provide customer service and soft-skills in interactions
  • Explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
  • Manage priorities daily

Requirements

  • Prior help desk experience helpful but not required
  • Able to effectively and clearly communicate in both written and verbal forms with anyone in the organization

  • Manages self and priorities each day
