About the role

  • Process and manage customer’s payroll in Luxemburg
  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
  • Calculate wages including overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. using a computer system
  • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Address payroll issues and questions from employees and superiors
  • Handle requests and potential complaints from customers
  • Prepare reports for upper management and finance department etc.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as payroll specialist
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
  • Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
  • Written and speaking proficiency in French
  • English will be used as main communication language within the company
  • Ability to assess the user’s situation and have user focus
  • Curious with investigative mindset
  • Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Able to handle complaints and challenging customers
  • Team player able to work efficiently and independently
  • Working independently in a structured approach
  • Open to learn and have new experiences
