Report to the Chief Marketing Officer as Communications Specialist on the learning marketing team
Write, edit, and proofread communication materials including press releases, articles, blog posts, newsletters, speeches, and sales collateral to increase awareness of Cadmus’s product
Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, university stakeholders, and media representatives; respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews or press conferences
Prepare and distribute internal communications including product updates, company announcements, and organisational updates ensuring consistency with company objectives
Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of public relations campaigns and drafting press materials
Assist with development and execution of crisis communication strategies, including preparing statements and responding to inquiries during sensitive situations
Ensure communication materials align with the company’s branding guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice across channels
Support planning and coordination of company events, conferences, and promotional activities, including campaign narrative and stakeholder outreach copy
Track media coverage, social media activity, and communication metrics and provide reporting on strategic communications initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent field of study
Experience working in the field of Marketing/Content Writing within Higher Education sector
Highly articulate spoken and written English communications skills with a gift for explaining complex ideas succinctly
Advanced problem-solving, critical thinking, and outstanding attention to detail
