• Convert client data into customized prosthetic device designs using various software tools
• Lead design review process within the production design team and audit completed custom design files for release to production
• Troubleshoot design-process and production-related challenges and recommend solutions
• Mentor and provide design training to CAD Design Specialist I and assist in problem-solving
• Maintain design templates, document procedures, and participate in continuous improvement projects
• Work autonomously and collaboratively with R&D, Manufacturing, and clinical experts to establish design frameworks and evaluate device fit
• Use calibrated tools to collect measurements from physical casts or utilize CAD to analyze digital scans and scale images
• Transfer CAD files to ERP, manage bill of materials, and ensure product aligns with design
• Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and contribute to a safe working environment
• Communicate design documentation and collaborate with customer-facing departments and stakeholders
