About the role

  • Provide strategic leadership and management to a team of Assistant Credit Managers (ACMs) and District Credit Managers (DCMs)
  • Directly oversee a designated portfolio of accounts
  • Utilize delegated credit authority to review and make high-stakes decisions on credit applications
  • Continuously assess and adjust credit lines within authorized limits
  • Implement company credit policies related to write-offs and collection placements
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline credit management processes
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the AR and territories overseen by direct reports
  • Foster a culture of high performance and professional development within the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit management
  • Proven track record of successfully overseeing teams in a decentralized structure
  • Demonstrated ability in approving or declining credit applications and managing job accounts
  • Experience in making decisions regarding credit line adjustments within assigned authority levels
  • Proficiency in credit management software and tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk assessment and credit evaluation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
