About the role
- Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices across all global regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and customer contract terms
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to align on billing requirements for multinational customers and complex agreements
- Lead and oversee the global AR inbox by managing and responding to customer billing inquiries via email and Jira
- Develop and deliver supplemental AR and billing reports that provide transparency into global invoicing and collections activity
- Supervise and mentor the AR Specialist, providing guidance, training, and feedback to support professional growth and ensure accuracy in AR operations
- Drive collections efforts globally by following up with customers on overdue invoices, requesting remittance information, and escalating as needed
- Review and validate financial data from internal partner teams to confirm accuracy of invoices and revenue recognition for global accounts
- Support external and internal audit requests, ensuring timely provision of documentation and adherence to audit standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline global AR operations and strengthen cash flow management
Requirements
- Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively in a fast-paced environment, with minimal oversight
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment, with a track record of identifying root causes and driving effective solutions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Expert at managing multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, data integrity, and delivering high-quality work under pressure
