About the role
- Lead safety and risk analytics initiatives within the trucking industry
- Manage large teams, providing coaching, mentorship, and strategic direction
- Design, implement, and oversee KPIs to drive safety outcomes, operational performance, and risk mitigation
- Develop and execute data strategies, manage dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics platforms
- Partner with operations, compliance, legal, and HR to evaluate risk and develop proactive safety measures
- Utilize knowledge of trucking regulations and industry best practices to guide decision-making
- Champion continuous improvement through data, feedback loops, and structured safety processes
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing 10+ direct reports
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and scale teams
- High proficiency in data science, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and statistical analysis
- Experience leading reporting and analytics teams
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and trucking-specific risk/safety protocols
- Familiarity with telematics, ELD data, and predictive risk modeling
- Experience working in fast-paced, scaling logistics or transportation environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
