About the role
- Medely seeks an analytically minded Senior Data Analyst to answer high-impact product and business questions using data\n
- You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Recruiting to create analyses and data stories that drive and direct our fast-growing business\n
- Ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is motivated by challenging problems, and is naturally curious\n
- Create internal dashboards to monitor growth, revenue, and engagement of the product and business KPIs\n
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership\n
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business needs, investigate, triage, and resolve metrics-based issues without heavy guidance\n
- Review current processes and spot potential opportunities for improvement via reporting or automation\n
- Look for opportunities to automate insights through alerting and anomaly detection\n
- Identify areas short of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, statistics, data science, consulting, or other relevant field\n
- Strong understanding of databases and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Metabase etc.)\n
- Advanced SQL skills and ability to write well-optimized queries\n
- Ability to organize and present complex data to technical and non-technical audiences\n
- Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data\n
- Ability to analyze data and condense data to tell a persuasive story
