• Developing and maintaining AI systems and behaviors using Unreal Engine 5’s frameworks and custom code.
• Implementing decision-making logic, pathfinding, perception, and dynamic reactions for interactive NPCs.

AI Programmer, Unreal Engine 5

Software Engineer

• Diving deep into Unreal Engine 5 architecture and source code to extend, improve, and customize core engine systems.
• Working on low-level subsystems, memory, asset streaming, I/O, and building pipelines.
• Profiling and optimizing CPU and GPU performance, memory footprint, and loading times for current and next-gen platforms.
• Extending / tuning core engine features and technologies (Nanite, Lumen, Chaos, etc.).
• Supporting a range of consoles (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo), as well as PC and cloud-based gaming platforms.
• Integrating platform SDKs, store APIs, online services and storefronts (Steam, EGS, GoG, etc.).
• Participating in all phases of development — from prototype and tools setup to shipping the final game build.

Designer

• Team position which assumes working with Game Director and Lead Game Designer on design decisions for a large AAA first-person shooter game
• Own, drive and communicate the vision for major design initiatives, new features, major design overhauls and hold brainstorming/playtest sessions
• Work closely and unify all other disciplines: engineers, artists and producers to design, tune and implement various game design directions
• Lead complex, challenging, impactful game aspects with minimal oversight
• Analyze internal and external metrics feedback and adjust design or balance the game if necessary
• Contribute to prototyping, game balancing and gameplay tuning

Operations

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Prop Artists, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
• Quality Control: Ensure all assets meet the specific artistic and technical requirements of our AAA partners, maintaining a "Gold Standard" output.
• Pipeline Management: Develop and optimize efficient modeling and texturing workflows (PBR) to meet demanding production schedules.
• Project Oversight: Manage the distribution of tasks within the team and ensure deadlines are met across various active projects.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Art Directors, Technical Artists, and Project Managers to identify potential risks and solve production bottlenecks.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical briefs, style guides, and best-practice documentation for the props department.
