Own the product vision and roadmap for Spark’s internal systems that manage broker payments, data flows, and operational automation.
Simplify complexity. Build a clear understanding of our end-to-end workflows — how data moves, where it breaks, and how to make it resilient. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops, Data, Finance, and Compliance to align on priorities and design scalable systems.
Drive measurable outcomes, such as reducing manual touches, accelerating payment cycles, and improving data accuracy.
Write crisp specs for high-leverage features: from ETL improvements to new automation tools.
Shape the product culture by mentoring other PMs, evolving our processes, and helping scale Product at Spark.
Operate hands-on, reviewing data models, digging into dashboards, and validating complex workflows yourself.
Requirements
Extensive experience managing the development of web-based products
Prior experience developing internal facing tools a strong plus
Deep sense of accountability over identifying core problems and translating them to clear business objectives
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience managing senior internal stakeholders
Analytical approach to feature development and prioritization
Comfort operating in ambiguous environments
Experience with SQL or other analytical tools
Prior experience building products and services in a healthcare or insurtech environment a plus
