Program Manager

• Manage new product development activities tied to supply chain and manufacturing from concept through product launch (EVT, DVT, PVT), including goals, objectives, deliverables, schedules, resources, budgets and program governance
• Work closely with internal hardware/software engineering teams and externally with strategic partners and contract manufacturers
• Manage contract manufacturing activities domestically and offshore; proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Determine and track dependent action items/steps needed at suppliers and contract manufacturers, including material readiness, equipment/tooling, NRE/CapEx, test systems and infrastructure
• Serve as key point of contact and source of truth for BOM and sourcing/purchasing activities for mechanical parts; align Mechanical Engineering and NPI Manufacturing teams
• Help drive quality improvements in the product and with contract manufacturers and suppliers
• Ensure resolution of technical issues impacting schedule across Engineering, quality, manufacturing test, suppliers and contract manufacturing partners
• Report directly to the Director of NPI Programs and be an integral part of the Supply Chain & Manufacturing organization

Senior Program Manager, NPI

Engineer

• Lead the NPI process for PCBAs and electronics subassemblies, from prototype to high-volume manufacturing
• Apply DFx principles (DFM, DFT, DFQ, DFR, DFC) to electronic designs to ensure robust manufacturability, test coverage, and quality
• Partner with design engineers to review Gerbers/ODB++, schematics, and layouts for manufacturability and testability
• Define and implement PCBA test strategy (ICT, FCT, boundary scan, functional test fixtures) in collaboration with hardware and test engineering
• Drive SMT line qualifications, reflow profile validation, selective soldering, AOI/X-ray coverage, conformal coating and other PCBA processes
• Investigate and resolve issues with new designs and prototypes through assembly, testing, and system integration
• Own technical deliverables for CM onboarding, including process requirements, yield targets, test coverage, and quality control plans
• Identify and qualify quick-turn vendors to support prototype and early build activities
• Develop and implement second-sourcing strategies to drive cost reduction and ensure supply continuity
• Create, review, and submit engineering change orders (ECOs) to release design and process changes
• Evaluate technical readiness before release and conduct Technical Readiness (TR) reviews with cross-functional teams
• Conduct BOM risk assessment, component testing, second sourcing, and manage Product Change Notifications (PCN) and qualifications
• Improve manufacturing operations to enhance efficiency, consistency, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring high product quality

• Grow SPAN’s business by originating and developing scaled SPAN programs through utility partnerships
• Work with utilities, program implementers, energy service providers, and trade allies to raise awareness of SPAN’s product capabilities
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to steer product priorities needed to deploy programs at scale
• Drive revenue growth by developing utility partnerships and programs that create clear commercial value
• Own deal execution from proposal through negotiation, contract signing, and delivery
• Build scalable models for utility engagement, directly and through channel partners, to expand adoption of smart electrical panels and services
• Develop and execute strategies to expand utility adoption and monetize grid services
• Represent the company in regulatory, policy, and industry forums
• Identify market trends, rate structures, and incentives to unlock commercial opportunities
