Support Engineer

• Own technical delivery across multiple customer deployments from initial prototype to production scale, embedding with customer teams to understand their workflows and build full-stack solutions that solve their specific problems.
• Scope work, make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and quality, and write production-grade code across our TypeScript, Python, and data pipeline stack when delivery depends on it.
• Translate customer feedback into product requirements and create reusable patterns that help the team scale, influencing roadmap priorities based on real-world deployment learnings.

Sales Development Rep

• Prospect: You’ll execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, email, cold calling, etc.) to find potential customers.
• Research: You’ll conduct ABM research to understand decision makers’ needs, pain points, and determine if they’re a good fit for Span.
• Coordinate Meetings: You’ll schedule discovery calls for Span’s sales representatives
• Experimentation: You’ll collaborate with the Growth Lead to create & run outbound experiments with the goal of helping the team refine messaging and strategy.
• Create Process: You’ll collaborate closely with the Growth Lead to test, refine, and scale repeatable sales playbooks.
• Reporting: You’ll need to report on weekly outbound activities and the outcomes of experiments.
• Provide Feedback: You’ll relay market feedback to the Growth, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.

Sales Development Representative

Platform Engineer

• Build AI-powered platform tooling that identifies the root causes of recurring operational work (KTLO), automates repetitive tasks, and recommends long-term engineering improvements.
• Create an internal developer platform including a software catalog, service ownership model, and engineering portal that teams actually enjoy using.
• Improve developer experience by building workflows, automation, and self-service infrastructure that reduce cognitive load, streamline onboarding, and eliminate common sources of engineering friction.
• Leverage LLMs and AI agents to automate platform operations, incident response, documentation, engineering support, and developer workflows.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to identify platform gaps, improve reliability, and build scalable infrastructure that enables product teams to focus on delivering customer value.

Customer Success Manager

• You'll build deep, trusted relationships with engineering leaders—understanding their goals, unblocking challenges, and helping them get the most out of Span.
• Lead onboarding, set success plans, and guide customers through best practices to ensure adoption, retention, and expansion.
• Be the go-to advisor for our customers—navigating the worlds of AI Effectiveness and Developer Intelligence.
• Work across departments (Sales, Product, Engineering) to advocate for customer needs and deliver a standout experience.
• Lead value-driven conversations regularly with customers to help them make the connection between Engineering Intelligence and business outcomes.
• Identify champions, expand usage across teams, and proactively spot churn risks before they happen.
• Get creative with workflows, playbooks, and experiments to scale our CS efforts as we grow.

Customer Success

Marketing

• You'll own and execute field marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline across our target accounts and markets.
• Partner closely with Sales to identify opportunities, build account-focused campaigns, and create programs that help move prospects through the funnel.
• Plan and execute a variety of events—including conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, customer gatherings, webinars, and community events—from strategy through post-event follow-up.
• Develop compelling event experiences and campaigns that resonate with engineering leaders, platform teams, and technical decision-makers.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to ensure consistent messaging and flawless execution.
• Measure and report on program performance, pipeline impact, and ROI, sharing insights and recommendations with the broader team.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and industry communities to strengthen Span's presence in the market.
• Experiment with new event formats, channels, and technologies to help us scale our field marketing efforts efficiently.
