About the role

  • Responsible for the oversight and management of Renewable Energy Initiatives at SJI.
  • The COO of SJI REV will lead strategical value, organizational impact, financial and compliance functions, resource and timing dependencies to ensure alignment against SJI/REV’s Strategic Plan.
  • Responsible for the planning, operations, scheduling and management of the financial and budgetary activities of dairy farms, landfills and all Renewable Energy Venture initiatives.
  • Essential duties include: develop strategic objectives, monitor progress, implement process improvements, oversee relationships, etc.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of operational excellence, strategic planning, and team leadership within an engineering-driven environment
  • Heavily focused in strategic development, oversight of P&L, operational acumen of project delivery, origination, tax, grant and government oversight
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and stakeholder management
  • Strong IT skills: ability to use multiple communication tools and packages
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Access, Visio, and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat
