About the role
- Partner with subject matter experts to conduct needs analysis, define learning objectives, and develop instructional materials (storyboards, curricula, assessments)
- Apply instructional models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile, adult learning theory)
- Develop interactive learning experiences, e-learning modules, instructor-led guides, videos, and job aids
- Upload and manage content in LMS platforms, set up user rosters, and track learner progress
- Use assessments, learner feedback, and data to measure course effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Work cross-functionally with SMEs, instructional technologists, and stakeholders
- Take on additional instructional design projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, education, business, HR, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 1-year minimum instructional design experience
- Strong grasp of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
- Skilled with LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L), authoring tools (Storyline, Rise, Captivate, H5P) and curriculum development
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient with O365
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for assigned projects and tasks
