Provide day-to-day support to instructional designers and faculty throughout the course design process, ensuring clear communication, efficient workflow, and alignment with instructional design best practices.
Promote and support evidence-based design practices, accessibility standards, and the use of instructional technologies to enhance the learning experience.
Maintain and refine workflows, templates, and design standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in course production.
Use feedback and analytics to assess course quality, identify improvement areas, and inform future instructional design efforts.
Explore and recommend new tools, technologies, and strategies to strengthen teaching and learning.
Assist senior leadership in implementing strategic initiatives and departmental projects related to instructional design and technology.
Requirements
Minimum of a master’s degree in education, instructional design, business, HR or related field.
1 year+ of instructional design management experience
3+ years of instructional design experience
Expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile), adult learning theory, and curriculum development within higher education.
Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in course design tools (e.g., Storyline, Rise, H5P), video production tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
Deep understanding of accessibility standards, universal design for learning (UDL), and inclusive andragogical strategies.
Strong analytical skills with experience using learning analytics and assessment data to inform instructional decisions.
