Support successful execution of solar projects across planning, budgeting, procurement, construction management, project controls, reporting, scheduling, and risk management
Assist with planning, budgeting, management, and completion of PV projects
Coordinate design and permitting activities with engineering team and local authorities
Follow Solar Landscape Safety and Quality standards and ensure others adhere to policies
Provide input on construction schedules for assigned projects
Solicit, negotiate, and execute subcontracts and purchase orders; ensure timely delivery to support project schedule
Schedule and manage deliveries of materials and equipment and maintain accurate receiving records
Assist with planning and execution of self-performed work and manage labor crews and subcontractors; plan sequencing, crew sizes, productivity goals, and monthly labor spend
Execute work, track actual results, and adjust forecasts to reflect actual production
Help complete all job closeout procedures including AHJ inspections, interconnection, testing, documentation, Owner’s Engineer reviews, and Independent Engineer reviews
Build trust and rapport with all Solar Landscape departments
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and construction management software such as Dynamics 365
Strong understanding of commercial PV construction, including rooftop, ground-mount, and carport installations
Knowledge of behind-the-meter and utility interconnection processes
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Familiarity with construction safety standards; OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to job sites as needed
Ability to climb ladders and access building rooftops
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
