About the role
- Identify and secure new enterprise accounts and expand relationships within existing customers
- Position Solace as a critical enabler of traditional EDA and next-generation AI-driven initiatives
- Work closely with technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers to demonstrate Solace’s platform
- Develop and execute territory and account plans addressing pipeline, revenue, profit margin, client wallet share, and customer satisfaction
- Lead the sales process from start to finish and negotiate complex deals
- Build strong client relationships at both working and executive levels and establish long-lasting client relationships
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and cross-functional teams
- Act as a self-starting “hunter” responsible for pipeline building and revenue attainment
Requirements
- Consultative selling
- Ability to build strong executive relationships
- Proven ability to close large, complex deals in the Banking and Capital Market sectors
- Track record in selling middleware products, solutions, and services
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to connect with clients
- Ability to pull together a team and lead complex negotiations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 10 years of experience managing client relationships in the Enterprise IT space
- Proven track record of sales success in other IT companies
- Familiarity with MEDIC / MEDDPICC sales process
- Willingness to travel as much as 30% of their time (2-3 days a week)
- Experience navigating complex, consultative sales cycles within large financial organizations in the US
- Legally able to work in the US without sponsorship (application question)
