About the role
- Serve as primary point of contact for the Sales team, building quotes, structuring deals and guiding opportunities through to close.
- Manage incoming DealOps support requests via ticketing systems in a case queue model, addressing a wide range of deal types.
- Provide operational support across the full sales deal lifecycle, including quote creation, approvals and contract execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to sales teams, offering guidance on best practices and contract terms.
- Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure deals are financially sound and contractually compliant.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations and other stakeholders to support process and tool improvements.
- Support complex or non-standard deals and maintain consistent communication with leadership.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of deal documentation and update systems in a timely manner.
- Monitor deal progress, identify bottlenecks and proactively escalate issues.
- Maintain knowledge of internal policies and support reporting and metrics tracking.
- Assist with training and onboarding of sales team members on deal desk processes, tools, and policies.
- Be willing to adapt to changes and accept other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in deal desk, deal operations analyst, sales operations or a similar role within a SaaS or technology company.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and knowledge of CPQ tools (e.g.DealHub CPQ)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field
- Schedule flexibility during End of Month and End of Quarter
- Core hours can float to Central/Eastern/Pacific time zones for coverage as needed
