About the role

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets; create and refine actionable plans.
  • Up to 75% regional travel; attend team meetings in Akron, OH office and industry events; travel to customer sites and company locations.
  • Conduct market research and prospecting; build and maintain a pipeline; pursue and nurture leads through the sales cycle.
  • Engage prospects via calls, meetings, and presentations; develop tailored quotes and proposals addressing client requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and sales teams to develop competitive pricing and custom solutions.
  • Maintain CRM and reporting tools; prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities; participate in cross-functional projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field or equivalent practical work experience demonstrating proficiency in this role.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales, or a related field, with demonstrated sales success in related areas.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree; HubSpot experience; 5+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Desired Skills: Experience reaching decision makers in larger companies; leveraging industry events for lead generation; CRM experience; ambitious target-setting and tracking; strong follow-up and value-driven interactions; cross-functional collaboration; clear persuasive communication; staying informed on product/industry/competitors; presentation and audience-tailoring skills; thrives in fast-paced environments; strong prioritization and time management; critical thinking and solution orientation.
  • Working Conditions: Remote regional role with regular travel; must have dedicated home workspace and minimum 20 mbps uninterrupted internet; travel to industry events, customer sites, and company locations as needed.
  • Physical Requirements: Long periods of sitting; repetitive hand/wrist motions; ability to move objects up to 20 lbs; driving long distances and frequent air travel; reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
